David Guetta, watch your back. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge could add DJ to her long list of credentials after having a go at making music on DJ decks and the result is hilarious.

In the clip posted to the Cambridge's official Instagram page, Kate can be seen making her very own song during a visit to the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit.

Check it out below:

After dropping some electronic beats, Kate covers her ears and says at the end of the clip: "Sorry for leaving such a terrible song! Delete it, delete it, delete it."

William can be heard in the background, he said jokingly: "Please turn that off it's hurting my ears."

It seems DJ Kate will not be the next music act heating up the charts this summer, as the caption for the post rules out any chance of a music career. It reads: "Can rule out a music career. Keep up the incredible work Scottish Violence Reduction Unit and please do delete that music."

People in the comments section were living for Kate's short stint as a DJ, with some giving Kate the stage name "DJ HRH Catherine in the house."

One person said: "Our future Queen is a music artist now!"

A second wrote: "I think Catherine was making a sick beat before William interrupted."

While another Instagram user shared: "I thought it sounded pretty cool".

One person who might be DJ Kate's biggest fan is her mum Carole Middleton who declared her love of house music earlier this year.

Carole sat down with Good Housekeeping for an exclusive interview for their April issue where she spoke about her favourite music genre.

"People are often surprised to know that I love house music - something with a good beat - and so does [husband] Mike!" she said.

Carole also admits to being a big Jess Glynne fan, adding: "At the moment I get up and dance to Jess Glynne, so the family tease me as I always put her on."

Carole can now add DJ HRH Catherine to her list of favourite artists!
