Viewers watching New Zealand's Health Minister providing a Covid-19 update yesterday were left in shock when he appeared to drop the c-word during a press conference.
And nope, we're not talking about the word 'coronavirus'...
David Clark took to the lectern to give the country an update on the pandemic. But on the RNZ live stream of the conference, it sounded like the health minister used the word c**t.

Of course, it was just an audio blunder, but viewers were left confused, with David appearing to say: "Around the world, we have seen the virus spread at funerals, as well as a second wave of infection taking hold just as c***s were getting on top of the virus, like we are now."
Awks.
It seems the health minister had actually said the word 'countries' but the glitch occurred just at the wrong time.

It's not the only time the health minister has hit the headlines during the pandemic.
Earlier in the lockdown, he was demoted by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for breaking lockdown rules on two occasions.
Not only did he drive his family to the beach, 12 miles from their home, but he also admitted to driving to a park near his home to go biking.
He said in a statement: "At a time when we are asking New Zealanders to make historic sacrifices I've let the team down.
"I've been an idiot, and I understand why people will be angry with me.

"As the health minister, it's my responsibility to not only follow the rules but set an example to other New Zealanders... I've apologised to the prime minister for my lack of judgement and offered her my resignation."
Following the scandal, he was demoted to bottom level cabinet and was stripped of his associate finance minister portfolio.
