Lush Is Discontinuing Loads Of Products Including Your Favourite Bath Bombs

If you stock up your bathroom with all things Lush then you might not be too happy at the news we have to share.

The high street cosmetics company is scaling back its stock, and discontinuing a whole load of its products as part of its brand new 'Secret Masterplan'.

The plan will unfortunately see over 150 products get the chop, as the chain instead focuses on bringing us "fewer products that give you better results".

Products being discontinued include the Aubergine bath bomb, alongside Honey I Washed The Kids, the You've Been Mangoed bath oil and the Stargazer bubble bath.

In a statement, Lush explained: "As we look towards a future, lockdown presented an opportunity for Mark Constantine [Lush CEO] to reflect on the present and try every product again and again to get a better understanding of what we are offering."

It said he laid out three considerations by which to assess all their products:

  • Does it serve customer's needs?
  • Is it number one in its category?
  • Is it part of a cosmetic revolution?

"There are bound to be some disappointments," they added. "But far many more opportunities as we make room to create things that are best in their class - fewer products, that give you better results."

The good news is if you want to get your hands on your favourite lush product, you still have a bit of time before stock runs out.

After that, it may be a little harder to buy your faves, but there will still be a chance they could return in Lush's Kitchen subscription box, which brings back retro classics monthly alongside some extra added surprises.

The best part is it allows subscribers to vote on the contents each month - so, if your go-to product is cult enough it could actually be back (albeit temporarily) sooner than you think!
