The final words of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, just before she was accidentally shot by Alec Baldwin on the set of abandoned film Rust, have been revealed.
The Los Angeles Times questioned 14 crew members on the final moments of the mother-of-one. Baldwin's last words to Hutchins were also revealed in the report.
According to several crew members (as well as Souza himself), Baldwin was rehearsing his positioning for a specific shooting scene. It was during this time that he discharged the gun, allegedly believing it was 'cold' - or, unloaded. Hutchins and Souza were both shot in the same instance.

The actor reportedly said, "so, I guess I'm gonna take this out, pull it and go 'bang!" as he was practicing with the gun.
A boom operator was seemingly the last person to remember Hutchins' words before she died. According to the crew member, she said "oh, that was no good. No, that was no good. That was no good at all".
Just hours later, Hutchins was pronounced dead at Albuquerque Hospital in New Mexico.

The gun was reportedly a .45-calibre Colt revolver, and had passed through several hands before being given to Baldwin.
Armourer Hannah Guitierrez-Reed was the first to handle to gun, placing it on a desk due to Covid-19 restrictions. Assistant Director Dave Halls was the last to handle the gun before the actor, checking with surrounding crew members that the gun was 'cold'. Baldwin was rehearsing at the time of the shooting.
Souza allegedly called out after being shot, "what the f**k was that? That burns!"
