Gabby Petito: Police Release Upsetting Footage Moments Before YouTuber Went Missing

The footage has been released by Moab City Police Department.

Police have released footage of Gabby Petito days before her disappearance.

The unsettling footage shows the YouTuber pulled over by police on 12th August. In the bodycam clip, the 22-year-old can be seen crying after telling officers her and boyfriend Brian Laundrie had been arguing.

You can watch the video below:

"I’m sorry, we’ve just been fighting this morning. Some personal issues," Gabby can be heard explaining to the officer.

"It was a long day. We were camping yesterday," says Laundrie.

The 23-year-old then apologises for the 'bump' in the road, with Gabby adding: "I was distracting him, I’m sorry."

The officer then asks her to step out of the campervan, and questions Gabby about 'what's going on'.

"Some days, I have really bad OCD," she says.

She also told officers she slapped and scratched Laundrie, saying: "I was trying to get him to stop telling me to calm down."

The couple were separated for a night but no further charges were filed.

They had been living in the campervan while travelling across the States, with their journey documented on social media.

However, their content stopped abruptly and reports state Gabby was last in contact with her family at the end of August.

Laundrie returned to their home in Florida at the beginning of September, while Gabby was reported missing by her family 10 days later, on 11th September.

It is reported he has since been named as a person of interest, however his lawyer has said "intimate partners are often the first person law enforcement focuses their attention on" adding that he had advised Laundrie not to comment.

"We are pleading with anyone, including Brian, to share information with us on her whereabouts in the past few weeks," said police chief Todd Garrison.

"The lack of information from Brian is hindering this investigation. The answers will eventually come out."

Meanwhile, Gabby's family are urging Laundrie to explain "why he left Gabby all alone and drove her van to Florida".

"These are critical questions that require immediate answers," a statement read.

Gabby is 5ft5 and weighs approximately 110 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

She has several tattoos including one on her forearm reading "let it be".
