Usually when the weekend approaches we have grand plans to whip up a delicious roast for our loved ones.

But lo and behold having fun with friends, partners and family, or even just having a lie-in, often gets in the way of our lofty ambitions by the time Sunday rolls around.

No longer will you need to worry because Toby Carvery has landed on Just Eat and are they're taking out the stress of cooking Sunday dinner.

Hungry roast fans will be able to order a carvery, a meat-free lunch, and other options on the takeaway app.

But it's not all good news, as the service is only available from selected restaurants.

Of the 158 chains in the UK, only 62 are offering the delivery option so you best check on your local to avoid disappointment.

The news comes a year after the pub announced you could order takeaway but it had to be collected, so Just Eat are coming to the rescue for those looking to indulge without lifting a finger.

We checked out the nearest Toby Carvery over in Snaresbrook to see what you can tuck into.

From their famous carvery you can choose the slow-roasted meats you fancy, served with potatoes, carrots, peas, seasonal veg, a Yorkshire pudding and gravy for £7.79.

Prices and options may differ at your local restaurants, but Snaresbrook also offer a mix and match sides option for £4.99, which includes mini pigs in blankets, southern fried chicken strips, or onion bites as a vegan option.

Vegetarian main options include a broccoli and brie parcel for £7.79, as well as desserts like apple pie (£4.19), baked vanilla cheesecake (£4.39), giant sticky salted caramel cake (£4.49).

Delivery states that it can range from anywhere between 35-50 minutes, but it's a safe bet that on a Sunday there'll be plenty of roast fans desperate for a carvery delivered to their door so timings could increase.
