Before we get started, let's agree on one thing: pizza is the best food to ever be invented.
Agreed? OK good.
We mean, what could be better than baked dough topped with lashings of tomato sauce and heaps of cheese? We can't think of a single thing. Not one. However one US-based pizza chain has decided that the crusts are actually better than the pizza itself and we're not too sure how we feel about it.
In a new gimmicky offering from Villa Italian Kitchen, the brand's new 'Just the Crust' pizza is basically a new speciality offering for those who still want to eat pizza but just without the sauce, cheese and toppings. That's right - it's a bunch of pizza crusts sliced and assembled in a box.
"We know that crust is everyone's favourite part of the pizza, so skipping straight to selling pizza crusts only seemed like the perfect idea," said Mimi Wunderlich, Director of Communications and Digital Market, Villa Italian Kitchen.
Erm, we don't want to burst your bubble guys but we're not too sure that Twitter agrees.
"I have tons of questions, but the main one is: where did those crusts came from? They make a pizza jus to cut out the crust? Or has the crust been on someone else's pizza and is an unclaimed leftover? If it's not one of these options, then it's a breadstick," tweeted one confused person.

"Not even my dog wants the crust, what scumbags," said another.
Another Twitter user raised a relevant question: "What kind of monster only eats the crust? Why not just go get breadsticks?"

Luckily for Villa Italian Kitchen, there are a handful of crust fans out there who are rather excited by the prospect: "DREAMMM" tweeted one follower, while another said: "It's a dream if the crusts have melted cheese on them and you can dip the crusts in tomato sauce."

A box of crusts will set you back just $2.75 (£2.20) and if worse comes to worst you can always order a pizza on the side as they do look pretty damn delicious.
In pizza, we crust.
