Zara McDermott Apologises To Sam Thompson For Cheating

The 23-year-old had been dating fellow Made in Chelsea star Sam, 27, for 16 months when they split last month.

Posting on her Instagram Stories, Zara wrote: "Hey everyone, I just wanted to address the recent speculation in the media.

"A huge mistake I made a year ago has recently come to light and I want to face this head on. I don't condone being unfaithful and I made a huge mistake at a time in my life where I was hugely selfish and immature.

"I believe I have learnt so much from my mistake.

"I want to apologise to my Sam for everything I have put him through, for the pain, the embarrassment, the anger and the hurt.

"All I want to do is make this right and I think the least he deserves is me being honest with myself and all of you.

"I love you Sam. Forever."

Sam, meanwhile, hasn't responded to the apology, nor has he spoken publicly about the split.

He did however post a snap on Insta earlier this week, sat in bed with his PS4 remote control, captioned: How it's gotta be for the next few months (until the ps5 comes out)."

And earlier in the month, he shared an image of him and BFF TOWIE star Pete Wicks, writing: "Thank you so much for putting up with me for the past week @p_wicks01 I'm incredibly lucky to have people I can lean on when I'm down.

"I know you're not the soppy type, but you really are the brother I never had. I love you mate."
