Storm Callum Caused Absolute Havoc For Guests At Princess Eugenie's Wedding

Winds caused by Storm Callum had many of Princess Eugenie's VIP guests holding onto their fascinators for dear life.

Guests attending Princess Eugenie and Josh Brooksbank's wedding had to hold onto their hats as the wind caused havoc.

October weddings are never the most reliable when it comes to Britsh weather, but Storm Callum took wet and windy to a whole new level.

The storm brought 72mph gusts of wind to the UK today, meaning that there were hats and fascinators flying everywhere, and even caused a bit of a tumble amongst the bridal party...

Thankfully, the rain managed to stay away from the wedding at St George's Chapel in Windsor but maybe an October wedding wasn't the best idea - unless you're a fan of the windswept look, that is.

The youngsters in the bridal party struggled with the massive gusts of wind, as some of Eugenie's bridesmaids were knocked off their feet during their ascent to the church.

Poor Louis de Givenchy fell straight to the floor, while Princess Charlotte carried on waving like a pro.

The hand to hat pose is going to be a recurring site in Eugenie's wedding photos, but all the guests seemed to laugh it off.

Poor Gwen Field (Ayda Field's mum) lost her hat live on This Morning as her blue accessory was blown into the air and back up the hill by Storm Callum.

Thankfully, a man chased after it for hr and handed it back, which is more than can be said for Robbie who watched the hat fly off without a care in the world.

As the 800 guests descended, the Met Office issued an Amber weather warning, which we are sure all those who lost a hat will agree with.

Maybe Princess Eugenie should have looked at this wedding weather predictor before booking her big day.

Of course, as well as the wind stealing the show, Prince George and Princess Charlotte did a pretty good job at doing that, too.

Weddings can be boring for most children, but seven-year-old Savannah Phillips entertained her fellow bridal party members by imitating the sound of the trumpet fan-fare for the queen.

The cheeky bridesmaid left Prince George in stitches, and he tried to curb his giggles by placing his hand over his mouth.

George and Charlotte are seasoned professionals when it comes to weddings, having accompanied a bride up the aisle four times.

George, five, and Charlotte, three, made their wedding debuts at Pippa Middleton's wedding back in May 2017, and almost exactly one year later, they took up the roles again for Prince Harry and Meghan's big day.

They also recently walked Sophie Carter, a close friend of Kate's down the aisle.
