Celebrity Big Brother star Stephen Bear has pled not guilty to revenge porn and voyeurism in court.
The reality TV contestant, 31, put on a dramatic display before stepping into the magistrates court in Colchester, Essex, today, praying theatrically to cameras and pandering to the paparazzi.
Then, he stepped inside the courtroom and denied the charges he was facing, after an ex girlfriend - who cannot be named for legal reasons - accused him of having covertly filmed a sex tape and shared it online and via Whatsapp.
The judge, Christopher Morgan, conditionally bailed Bear until February 7th next year, where he will stand trial. The trial will last two to three days in total.
He is also accused of voyeurism, two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and two counts harassment without violence, after mocking the woman in question on social media after she made the allegations against him.
Bear has disputed all the accusations against him.
His response in court isn't a surprise, seeing as he has been vocal on social media about his innocence.
Last month, before his hearing was postponed, he tweeted: "Driving 2 hours to court this Friday to say 2 words ... NOT GUILTY.
The court hearing comes after the Ex On The Beach contestant was arrested by police at Heathrow Airport in January on his 31st birthday, upon his arrival back home from Dubai.
Bear's ex first made the allegations against him in December, taking to social media to state that she had heard from at least two multiple people who had seen the footage - which she previously hadn't known existed.
She claimed that he had CCTV around his house, adding that he "purposely got in position where he knew it would be on CCTV" so that he could obtain the covert footage.
"I feel hurt, I feel violated, I feel embarrassed but I also feel like my friends and followers will support me through this and I can't stay silent on the matter any longer," she said at the time, adding that she was speaking out "not just for me but for anyone that has been round there not knowing they are being filmed".
Revenge porn was officially made a criminal offence back in 2015, and those responsible can find themselves in jail for up to two years.
