The inquest heard that Sophie was found by her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong and his brother Ryan, who had driven to her house after becoming concerned over her lack of social media activity.

Coroners ruled that there was no third party involvement in the reality star's death.

Armstrong also presided over this inquest, and noted Aaron also had alcohol and cocaine in his system when he died. Aaron's inquest into his death was held on 19th March.

The coroner said: "His thinking was muddled by the distress of Sophie's death, the distress at having found her, with his brother.

"The consequence of taking alcohol and cocaine together prevented him from thinking rationally about his actions."

Sophie's parents, Colin and Deborah, made the decision not to attend her inquest today.

As reports of Sophie's death emerged last year, Northumbria Police spokesperson confirmed at the time: "At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death."
