Evan Rachel Wood has claimed that ex-partner Marilyn Manson "abused her" for years while they were in a relationship.
In a powerful statement written on Instagram, the 33-year-old wrote: "The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson.
"He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission.

"I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives.
"I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent."
Tyla has contacted reps for both Wood and Manson for comment.

Westworld star Evan first started dating shock-rocker Manson, 52, in 2007 when she was just 20 years old.
She was thought to be the inspiration for Manson's song 'Heart-Shaped Glasses', the lead single on his 2007 album Eat Me, Drink Me. Evan stars in the music video.
Evan has previously spoken out about being a victim of sexual and domestic abuse at the hands of an ex-partner.

In 2018, she testified before a House Judiciary Subcommittee as part of an effort to get the Sexual Assault Survivors Bill of Rights passed in all 50 American states.
"My experience with domestic violence was this: Toxic mental, physical and sexual abuse which started slow but escalated over time, including threats against my life, severe gaslighting and brainwashing, waking up to the man that claimed to love me raping what he believed to be my unconscious body," she told the subcommittee, though she did not name the person at the time.
Following Evan's statement on Instagram, at least four other women posted their own allegations against Manson, detailing their own catalogue of abuse which they claimed to be victims of sexual assault and coercion.
