Love Island's Sam Bird Claims Georgia Steel Split 'Involves Her Ex'

Sam and Georgia announced their break-up on Thursday, shortly after their loved-up appearance on the hot pink carpet at ITV's Palooza in London just a day earlier, but didn't divulge why they'd chosen to go their separate ways.

Fans began to speculate that the split was something to do with their tour manager, Steven West, as Georgia posted an Instagram shot of their 'late night drive' as the break-up was announced.

But Sam has insisted these rumours aren't true, and instead blamed the end of their relationship on Georgia's former flame.

"Claims that Georgia has cheated on me with our tour manager and friend Stevie Lux is NOT true," the personal trainer shared on his Instagram story.

Continuing his post, Sam declared: "It involves her ex."

Georgia has also denied their rift was over their tour manager, hitting out at the claims on social media.

"The story of myself being linked with Steven West. This is laughable, he is my tour manager who drives me to all my PA's! Nothing more," slammed Gee.

Announcing their break-up on social media on Wednesday evening, Sam wrote: "I'm devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I cant bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best."

And Georgia posted: "I'm very sad to say me and Sam have split. I will always care about him.

"However please understand this is a very hard time for both of us."
