Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh shared a moving Instagram tribute to her late son Archie 10 years on from his death, saying that it still 'hurts like it was yesterday'.
Kym and her then-partner Jamie Lomas welcomed their son Archie in 2009 at 21 weeks, but he died just moments after being born.
The soap star has openly spoken about losing her son, and a heartbreaking Coronation Street storyline with her character Michelle Connor explored miscarriage mirroring her own real life tragedy.
And now a decade on from the heartbreaking loss, Kym posted a few words to Archie alongside a picture of his hand and footprints as well as a candle to remember him to her followers.
The Corrie actress wrote: "10 years on and it still hurts like it was yesterday. I wish I could show you a photo of a smiling boy surrounded by gifts.
"I wish I could show you videos of his party, playing with his mates and eating sweets til his tummy hurt. I wish I could show you photos of us all celebrating his birthday with him front and centre blowing out his candles.
"I wish I could kiss him and say happy birthday son. I wish I could hold his hand again just for one minute. I wish for so many moments I can't have.
"I may not be able to hold you Arch, or give you kisses or tell you that mummy loves you more than you will ever know. But you are in my heart always.
"I will never forget you or stop loving you or stop missing you or stop wishing you were here. Happy birthday my angel. Fly High up there kid. I love you always and forever."
The former Hear'Say popstar signed off her moving post with 'Mummy xxxx'.
Kym is also mother to son David, 23, and daughters Emily, 22. She also shares daughter Polly, seven, with ex-partner Jamie.
