Kristen Bell has been praised for openly revealing her five-year-old daughter is still in diapers (that's 'nappies' to us Brits).
The actress, 39, made an important point about how all children grow up at different paces while talking on a new episode of her digital series for The Ellen Show: Momsplaining with Kirsten Bell.
Joined by Maya Rudolph and Casey Wilson, she said: "My oldest daughter, at 21 months, we merely suggested that she use the toilet in the other room and [she] never wore another diaper beyond that.

"We were lying in bed giggling about this, my husband and I, like, 'Why does everyone make a big deal out of this potty training? It's so easy. Just tell the kid to use the toilet'.
"Currently, my youngest is 5½, still in diapers".
Maya - who is 47 and has four kids of her own - replied: "It's real relative, isn't it?"

To which Kristen said: "Yes, because every kid is so different".
The Frozen voiceover star has made a name for herself in recent months when it comes to fighting mum-shaming, and proving that nobody is immune to parenting "sh*t-shows".
She's also been candid about her relationship with her partner - the kids' father - Dax Shephard, admitting it hasn't always been plain sailing.
Speaking to Ellen recently about homeschooling, she said: "Doing schoolwork with them, it is absolutely miserable.

"I attempted to give her some math problems and she answered the first and second one, and then she got real sassy and what she did for the rest of them was in the answer grid she just wrote, No, No, No, No [to each question]."
It comes after she recently shared an essay written by her daughter Lincoln, entitled: 'How My Mom Reacts To Me'.
Kristen's flaws include having a "stern voice" and "no patience," according to her little one. LOL
