Kim Kardashian To Launch A True Crime Podcast With Spotify

Kim Kardashian To Launch A True Crime Podcast With Spotify

If you're a Keeping Up With The Kardashians fan, you'll know that Kim Kardashian has been following in her late father's footsteps and studying law for over a year now.

The reality star has well and truly immersed herself into this new world, even creating a documentary, Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project, in which she shone light on prisoners she thought were unfairly incarcerated, or deserved a second chance at life.

And now she's once again sharing her new passion with fans - this time releasing a true crime podcast on Spotify.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the new podcast will be created alongside TV presenter Lori Rothschild Ansaldi, and will look into his investigation into prisoner Kevin Keith's case.

Keith was convicted of three murders back in 1994, and sentenced to execution.

In 2010, his death sentence was taken away just 13 days before he was scheduled to die, after the governor of Ohio was faced with new evidence which raised doubt over his guilt.

However, despite this, Kevin is still currently at Marion Correctional serving a life sentence for the crimes.

The documentary comes as Kim has previously campaigned to free multiple prisoners over the last few years.

In 2018, she visited President Donald Trump and lobbied for the release of prisoner, Alice Marie Johnson, who had been in jail for over 20 years due to a non-violent drugs charge.

Trump later agreed to release her from prison following Kim's campaign.

And this week Kim has seen yet another victory - this time for prisoner Ruben Gutierrez, who has now been granted a stay of execution.

Gutierrez is yet another prisoner Kim has championed of late, after learning about his case and his pleas of innocence.

He was sentenced for the murder of an 85-year-old woman back in 1998, but has always denied that he is responsible.

We can't wait for this podcast to drop...We don't yet have an official release date, but we'll be sure to keep you posted!
