Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom happily announced the birth of their first child, Daisy Dove Bloom, earlier today - but as it turns out, the name of their new arrival was actually revealed months ago.
Regramming a post from Unicef, showing a black and white snap of Kate and Orlando clasping Daisy's tiny hand, the LOTR actor shared the words: "Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom!
"We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom's new bundle of joy."
The couple said they were "floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter" and that Katy's birthing experience has been "peaceful".

On reading the news, eagle-eyed fans were quick to note that, in fact, Daisy's name had previously been made public without anyone realising.
If you haven't made the connection yet, Katy released her album Smile earlier this year - a major milestone before welcoming her baby - and one of the singles was titled Daisies.
Released way back in May, the track gave a major clue as to the unborn bubba's name.

Once fans put two and two together, Twitter promptly blew up.
"Not to toot my own horn, but when Katy Perry came out with the song Daisy I remember telling my mom, 'that's her baby's name," wrote one user.
"KATY PERRY WROTE A SONG ABOUT HER DAUGHTER DAISY DOVE BLOOM," commented another.
A third shared a screengrab of the track, captioned: "This songs hit so differently now that daisy dove bloom is now born."

While a fourth tweeted: "No wonder Katy Perry said Orlando's fave song on smile was daisies... they were literally teasing us this whole time and now it's daisy dove bloom officially omg."
We have to say, the combination of 'Daisy' and 'Bloom' is making us very happy - while 'Dove' takes the name into certified A-lister territory.
