Katie Price has slammed an eBay seller who is thought to have made thousands of pounds selling car air fresheners "mocking" her son, Harvey.

The product in question was listed on eBay and features a circular cut-out of Harvey's face, reading 'hello you c**t' which references comments Harvey made during a Loose Women interview in 2016.

So far, 948 air fresheners have been sold at £2.99 each, meaning the eBayer has made more than £2,800 from the items.

Katie's representatives claim she is waging war on the product, insisting it "will be taken down", while the National Autistic Society branded it "unacceptable in the 21st century".

Katie's spokesperson said: "Harvey's Law will not only target the end of online trolling abuse, but will carry a heavy penalty to those companies that are seen to capitalise, support, drive trolls to mock and bully in the production of such merchandise - this website will be taken down."

Autistic campaigners were also quick to condemn the items and called on the public not to purchase gifts that mocked those with disabilities.

Tom Purser, Head of Campaigns at the National Autistic Society, said: "Many autistic people and families will be upset and disappointed to see Harvey and Greta treated this way.

"It'll be especially disappointing for those who have been personally mocked as 'funny' or 'weird' and routinely feel misunderstood.

"This shouldn't be going on in the 21st century, but our research suggests that this still happens far too often. We'd urge people to reflect before spending their money on something like this."

The seller had also listen an item mocking 18-year-old climate change activist Greta Thunberg - who has asperger syndrome.

An eBay spokesperson said: "Offensive listings of this nature have no place on eBay. We have removed the listing and are communicating with the seller to ensure they are clear on our listing policies."

Earlier this year, BBC viewers were left in tears after watching Katie's documentary, Katie Price: Harvey and Me.

The one-off doc followed Katie and Harvey, highlighting the ups and downs of raising a child with severe disabilities.

In the doc, viewers hear how, months after Harvey was born, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder known as septo-optic dysplasia, which brought with it partial blindness, autism; Prader-Willi syndrome and learning and behavioural difficulties.

The reality star talked exclusively to Tyla just days before the episode aired, revealing that she wants her son to become an "ambassador for disabilities," and to use his high profile help break down stigma.

"I get a lot of criticism, like, 'Why do you put Harvey in the limelight?' I'm like, 'Why shouldn't I?,' she told us.

"I wanna make parents proud, and not scared to go to a shop, or scared of people looking and poking fun."
