Kate Ferdinand, who is set to welcome her first child with Rio Ferdinand, informed her social media followers she was put on bed rest after tearing her stomach muscles.
A fan asked Kate via Instagram Stories how she was feeling and Kate explained she is now feeling "much better".
The former TOWIE star added: "I tore my stomach muscles six or so weeks ago and was on rest for three weeks. I found that really difficult... and my mind was all over the place!!"
"So now I'm just happy and grateful I can be out and walking and doing bits and bobs around the house."
Kate shared a picture of her baby bump in a tight-fitting black dress along with her response to the fan.
"I have trained for the majority of my pregnancy: pilates and light gym work. But after tearing my muscles I was advised to rest so I did that for three weeks. I am now just taking it easy and walking daily as I don't want to damage anything any further," Kate said.
"It is advised to stay active so I am trying to keep moving as much as possible."
Kate has kept her fans up-to-date with her pregnancy this year. In July, Kate shared a selfie on her Instagram story, explaining: "Unsure why I keep having photos touching my bump... but here I am doing it again." It was one of the first snaps Kate shared after revealing she was expecting a child with Rio in June.
Kate and Rio announced the pregnancy by filming how Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, nine - reacted, and they were all so excited!
In the clip, Kate starts by flicking through a photo album with pictures of them all as babies. Tate then turns the page and reads a message. It says: "Now for the next chapter... Guess what?"
And it doesn't take long for the penny to drop, with the kids squealing with excitement. You can watch the cute video below:
