Joe Exotic's Legal Team 'Absolutely Confident' He'll Be Pardoned By Donald Trump
After corresponding with the Tiger King star's legal advisors, Oklahoma's KOCO 5 News reporter Perris Jones tweeted: "Just got off the phone with the lead advocate for "Team Tiger," the legal team fighting to free Joe Exotic.
"He told me they are 'absolutely confident' they will receive a pardon from President Trump tomorrow."
It comes as the President - who was recently impeached over inciting the Capitol Riots - is expected to pardon more than 100 people before handing over the reins to President Elect Joe Biden on Wednesday (20th January), with other rumoured names including Lil Wayne and Steve Bannon.
And Joe Exotic, 57 - real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage - is so sure that he will be one of the President's pardons that he has even recorded a premature thank you video for him, while his team are claiming to have a limousine parked near his Texas prison at the ready.
Tweeting an image of the plush Hummer, which is said to be waiting for Joe, the KOCO journalist added last night: "I'm told this is the limousine that will be waiting to pick up Joe Exotic if he receives the pardon tomorrow.
"The lead advocate of Team Tiger tells me they'll be taking him to a secure location. He says Joe doesn't want anyone to see him until his hair his done. @koconews".

The Tiger King star is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence in Fort Woth, Texas, for his involvement in a murder-for-hire plot against his long-time rival, Big Cat Rescue founder Carole Baskin.

He's also jailed for a string of animal cruelty charges, which include violating the Endangered Species Act.
Detailing how they had prepared for Joe's release, Joe's legal private detective Eric Love told the local news network: "We've got hair and makeup, including a wardrobe, trust me, anything you can think of, we have it, including a doctor. Also a mental health expert.
"Joe's biggest thing is that he can't wait to get out as you can imagine, and he doesn't want anyone to see him until his hair is done.
"So the most important person tomorrow is the hair and makeup and wardrobe folks."
Speaking to Metro, Eric added: "We're going to be celebrating. We have good reason to believe it will come through. We are really in action mode right now."
He said that Joe was excited to have a McDonald's McRib for his first meal, as well as pizza and a steak.
"The first thing Joe wants to do...he wants his hair done. He hasn't had his hair done in two-and-a-half years.
"That's the first order of business. Then we'll probably go and get some pizzas, steak, maybe a McRib."
Anyone else sensing Joe is a little insecure about his hair?!
We'll update you as soon as we know for sure who Trump is pardoning...
