Demi Lovato has announced she is engaged to boyfriend Max Ehrich after five months of dating.
The singer, 27, took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, sharing a string of pictures of herself with her new fiancé with her 88.4 million followers.
She wrote: "When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his 'little partner' - something that might've sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent.

"To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I'm officially going to be someone else's partner. @maxehrich - I knew I loved you the moment I met you."

Demi went on: "It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too..
"I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself."
Hinting at their plans to have children with the actor in the future, she wrapped up: "I'm honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I'm ecstatic to start a family and life with you.
"I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here's to our future!!!!"

The pair's engagement took place on a stunning beach, and there wasn't another soul in sight (besides from a photographer, hidden behind some rocks!).
It's safe to say that Max, best known for starring in The Young And The Restless, was more than a little excited about the news, too.
Sharing the snaps with his own 1.3 million Instagram fans, he wrote: "Ahhhh, You are every love song, every film, every lyric, every poem, everything I could ever dream of and then some in a partner in life.

Demi and Max have been dating since March, but they went public back in May - locking lips for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's lockdown hit, 'Stuck With U'.

While makeup influencer Nikki Tutorials penned: "EVERYBODY SAY LOVE!!!!! YES!!!!!"
Paris Hilton was also quick to offer her well-wishes, writing: "Congratulations gorgeous! I'm so happy for you!"
