Chrissy Teigen has revealed she took her first shower in two months, after pregnancy loss left her 'unable to stand'.

The model turned social media influencer has been praised for candidly sharing her heartbreaking miscarriage journey with fans ever since she and John Legend lost their son Jack back in October.

And, to mark her 35th birthday, Chrissy told fans she was taking her first shower since the ordeal, after being restricted to baths for weeks due to her pain.

Sporting a colourful floral dressing gown and a peach towel, which was wrapped around her head, Chrissy filmed herself thanking fans for all their well-wishes.

She said: "I just had my first shower in like two months. I've been taking baths because I couldn't stand to be in the shower. I couldn't, like, physically stand in the shower."

On the milestone, she added: "I feel really, really good. Thanks for my birthday wishes. I feel very clear and very good."

"Also you have no idea, and I cannot wait to tell you something. I cannot wait."

After disappearing off the 'gram, she returned and concluded: "I realise that just left you supremely hanging, I'm sorry.

"I just mean it's been a ride, it's been a journey and I am happy to be back."

Chrissy and John have been healing since October after the loss of their unborn son, Jack.

While they both took some time out following the devastating incident, they were praised for sharing pictures of the moment they found out, and letting fans in on their gut-wrenching grief.

Chrissy also went on to write an article on Medium about her loss, in an attempt to put it into words.

Sharing screenshots of the piece on Instagram, she wrote: "I didn't know how to come back to real life so I wrote this piece for Medium with hopes that I can somehow move on but as soon as I posted it, tears flew out because it felt so.... final. I don't want to ever not remember Jack."

She also thanked 'everyone who has been so kind', the 'incredible doctors who tried so hard' to make their 'third life a reality', along with her friends and family, and her husband, singer John Legend.

"A lot of people think of the woman in times like this but I will never forget that John also suffered through these past months, while doing everything he could to take care of me," Teigen added.

"I am surrounded, in a human therapy blanket of love. I am grateful and healing and feel so incredibly lucky to witness such love."
