Ashley Cain's partner Safiyya Vorajee has spoken out following the death of their eight month old daughter, Azaylia, releasing a statement in which she admitted "every day is getting harder" since the little one's passing.
Safiyya, 34, took to Instagram on Monday to thank her social media followers for their unwavering support, writing: "I would like to take a moment out of my day to thank each and everyone of you for your heart felt messages, amazing videos that you have created for us, poems, candles that have been lit, balloons, music, flowers etc.
"It's so beautiful. Everyday is getting harder but Azaylia taught me strength, and courage which she held 100 per cent. Now I need to make her proud and do the same. I no your looking down on me (sic)."
Addressing her late daughter directly, she added: "A special thank you to beautiful Azaylia for teaching us the true meaning of life. I'm honoured to be your mummy.

Safiyya's post comes a few hours after her boyfriend Ashley, 30, shared a tribute of his own, emotionally thanking his daughter for "saving his life and giving him purpose".
"My heart is shattered. You gave my life purpose, my face a smile, filled my heart with love and my soul with pride," he had written.
"I can't put into words my sadness and pain, there aren't words to describe it. I love you with every ounce of my body and I miss you so much already.

"You made me a better man. You made me the person I've always wanted to be. You've taught me more in your 8 months than I've learned my whole life.
"I don't know why you've been taken away from me and my heart aches in your absence.
"But I promise you that your name with live on. I will carry your name across every ocean, along every road, to the top of every mountain and across the whole globe".
Azaylia suffered from a rare form of leukaemia which she was diagnosed with at just eight weeks old.

She was sent home earlier in April to enjoy her last few days after doctors at her Birmingham hospital told the couple she had cancerous tumours running through her whole body, and there was nothing more they could do to treat her condition.
Reality TV favourite Ashley and Safiyya had been hoping to take their daughter to Singapore to undergo lifesaving CAR T-cell therapy for her cancer, even fundraising over £1.5 million from generous fans and celebrity pals to make the trip.
But they were then dealt another devastating blow, and told by the facility that the treatment was no longer an option, because the blood cancer was so rare.
Defying the odds, the little fighter pushed on for weeks, enjoying some precious time with her mum, dad and loved ones before she passed. She tragically passed away on Saturday.
