A woman has shared the reason she always draws her curtains - and it's gonna creep you out.

Posting on TikTok, user @Lucy.248 explained that she had no choice but to keep her blinds drawn at all times, because of her creepy neighbour.

She then panned the camera out to show her neighbour's head peering over a bush directly into her home.

What's worse is it appears he had to climb a load of shrubbery in order to get a spot which perfectly looked onto her home.

Honestly, this is the stuff of nightmares...

"People always ask me why my curtains are always closed," she wrote.

As she showcased the creepy shot, Lucy simply added: "My neighbour".

Say no more, hun. We'd do the same.

"He really thought you couldn't see him," one person wrote.

As another penned: "Gurl call the cops".

"I have a neighbour just like this! I can’t even go outside without him staring at me and watching me," another chipped in.

Meanwhile, others advised Lucy to place mirror film on her windows to block outside view while still letting in natural light.

"All these people saying get window film, yeah thats a good idea except why do we have to get window film just because...," someone else moaned.

In a situation like this, it's important to know your rights. While police are always on hand should you need to alert them of a neighbour's activity you are concerned about, they usually can't do anything about someone looking into your home if they're doing so from the confines of their own property.

They can only intervene when said behaviour is deemed threatening or is putting you in harm's way.

However, alerting them is an important way to keep the individual on their radar, especially if they have previous criminal history.

If the individual is on your property, however, then that means they’re trespassing, and can also be accused of voyeurism.
