A brand new true crime series will tell the chilling stories of the country's most prolific child killers and their shocking crimes.
Kids Who Kill: Evil Up Close, a brand new series airing on Crime+Investigation, will delve into the UK's most prominent killers below the age of 18.

According to the channel, it's set to "take an in depth look at some of the most disturbing criminals through the eyes of those who loved, trusted and knew them best."
It will include contributions from leading experts such as former detective Peter Bleksley and psychologist and TV presenter Emma Kenny.
The first episode will centre of then sixteen-year-old Aaron Campbell who murdered six-year-old Alesha MacPhail after he abducted the child from her bed while on holiday with her grandparents on the Isle of Bute in Scotland.

Evil Campbell had broken into the family home in search of cannabis, but instead took Alesha and carried her to a nearby woods, where he raped and murdered her.
He was caught when his own mother had responded to police's calls for information and found CCTV footage of her son leaving the home twice in the night. He told her he was innocent and she believed him, but handed the footage over the police anyway.
Campbell did not admit to his crimes until after his conviction.

He was given a 27 year minimum sentence, but since has had it reduced by three years. However, he will only then be eligible for parole if he is deemed safe to leave prison, not given an automatic right.
The first episode of Kids Who Kill: Evil Up Close airs on Monday 30th March, with other episodes featuring killers Kim Edwards, Lucas Markham, Stephen Hough, Mathew Hardman, and Alyssa Bustamante.
