The first episode will centre of then sixteen-year-old Aaron Campbell who murdered six-year-old Alesha MacPhail after he abducted the child from her bed while on holiday with her grandparents on the Isle of Bute in Scotland.

Evil Campbell had broken into the family home in search of cannabis, but instead took Alesha and carried her to a nearby woods, where he raped and murdered her.

He was caught when his own mother had responded to police's calls for information and found CCTV footage of her son leaving the home twice in the night. He told her he was innocent and she believed him, but handed the footage over the police anyway.

Campbell did not admit to his crimes until after his conviction.

He was given a 27 year minimum sentence, but since has had it reduced by three years. However, he will only then be eligible for parole if he is deemed safe to leave prison, not given an automatic right.
