ASDA Has An Entire Sausage Dog Collection For Christmas

Sausage dogs are amazing, aren't they? With their oversized ears, stumpy little legs and cute waddles, it's no wonder the German breed is one of the most popular on UK shores.

That's precisely why we're thanking ASDA today for its brand new Christmas collection dedicated to all things sausage dog.

The supermarket has released some festive Dachshund merch ranging from £6 to £25.

The stand out item has to be the Sausage Dog Shaped Christmas Light (£25), a light which comes in the shape of the much-loved breed with added Christmas accents.

"Give this friendly pup a home this Christmas. Pre-lit with warm white lights, this sweet canine from George Home comes wearing Santa's hat and a sparkly blue scarf," reads the description.

Fans of the pooches can also get their hands on a Grey Christmas Sausage Dog Cushion (£6) featuring yet another sausage dog in a Santa hat, or a White Porcelain Sausage Dog Christmas Ornament (£10).

Other soft furnishing include the Grey Christmas Sausage Dog Super Soft Throw (£6) to go over your Grey Christmas Sausage Dog Easy Care Duvet Set (£10).

There's even a purple sparkly sausage dog duvet set for kids (£5 - £7) featuring the canines sitting on clouds with angel wings. Perfect.

ASDA also sell a bunch of other Dachshund-theme interiors for your home year round, including decorative lights and cushions.

The supermarket first asserted its love for the breed this time last year with another Christmas Dachshund collection, before launching a year-round range in February before bringing back the Christmas range (with loads of additions and improvements) for this year's upcoming festivities.

In other ASDA news, earlier this month the supermarket launched its Christmas gin collection, including Spiced Cranberry and Clementine Gin, Mince Pie Gin Liqueur and the one we're seriously excited to try: Toasted Marshmallow Gin Liqueur.

The gins are currently in-store, so you can shop them alongside your sausage dog merch.

The perfect combo, we'd say.
