If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, often half the battle is finding somewhere with a lovely pool where you can soak up the views for the days.

That's exactly what's on offer at this hotel in Italy, which has been voted the best pool view in the world, and it's not hard to see why.

The Miramonti Boutique Hotel in South Tyrol, Italy, was recognised in easyJet's Traveller magazine, for its saltwater infinity pool, which overlooks incredible jaw-dropping mountains.

It rated in the magazine's top 12 travel experiences, and the pictures alone are enough to have us checking Skyscanner for the next flights out to Italy.

"Measuring 16 metres long and five metres wide, the pool is like a warm cave that leads you to the stunning scenery in all four seasons," the hotel website reads. "Caressed by 32°C warming, healing salt water and floating high above the Merano basin below, like a spectacular private panoramic lounge. That's floating deluxe." Dreamy.

The secluded hotel is hidden away in the town of Merano and is so spectacular it has even acted as a set for several parts of the James Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me.

It is run by husband and wife duo Carmen Kruselburger and Klaus Alber, who describe the boutique hotel as 'an alpine hideaway that bewitches immediately.'

The Miramonti Boutique Hotel used to be a three-bedroom guesthouse before it was turned into a stunning luxurious hotel with 36 rooms and suites, with an incredible three restaurants, a relaxation space, a forest sauna and infinity pool on site.

It all sounds pretty incredible, and it's unsurprising that it comes with a pretty incredible price tag too, with give nights half board costing €908 (£820).
