You Can Stay In An Enchanted Real Life Treehouse And Indulge Your Inner Child

It's all our childhood dreams come true.

If you love to indulge your inner child, you're in luck, because you can now stay in this epic treehouse.

Treetops Treehouse in the grounds of the Fox & Hounds Country Hotel in Devon, is a stunning multi-story wooden palace set in a huge oak tree.

It is like no treehouse you could've ever imagined as a child - it's so much better.

Starting at £235 per night, this enchanted wooden home can be yours for the evening. You can climb high into the canopy and be left with just the view and birdsong. Sounds dreamy.

What's even better is once dark outside, you can light the cosy woodburner and relax on the sofa with a glass of cider provided to you free, or even better, enjoy a drink in the beautiful bath.

We just can't get enough of how magical the whole experience looks and how beautifully it has been decorated, with a king-size bed, bean bags, copper bath and a barbecue on the deck.

And from the secret cubby hole on the deck you can kick back and enjoy the sunset on the fishing lake, or watch as the local train chugs by.

This is literally what every child has ever dreamed of, with the added bonus of booze for adults.

It's a far cry from the treehouses most dads attempt to make with a singular unfurnished room. Not that we're knocking those of course, dads deserve a pat on the back for even attempting to build one.

This treehouse is just on a whole new level though, with separate kitchen, lounge and bathroom as well as the room you'll kip in.

If we stayed though, we'd keep out of the kitchen and make use of that BBQ.

Why wouldn't you want to make the most of those unique surroundings?

Unless of course it's winter time, in which case you can rustle something up on the cooker, or even better, if you're feeling lazy, there's a restaurant on the other side of the grounds that can cook for you. Sounds more like it.

Did we mention the underfloor heating? Imagine how toasty you'll be.

If you can prize yourself away from the warmth of this wooden palace for a few hours though, you can head nearby and try out coasteering, or go for a dip in the sea if you're really brave.

If relaxing is more your jam, the hotel offers up massages and a bar that serves up champagne. Bliss.

This cute getaway is giving us all the feels and we need it in our lives... we're just going to send a huge email hint to our other half right now, Christmas is coming up after all.
