Located in leafy Fairfield, in Virginia, the Hobbit's Dream sleeps four guests across one bedroom (featuring a double bed) and two floor beds in the living space.

The hosts recommend just two guests stay in the property - but it can fit four if needed.

Nestled in the middle of the countryside, the Hobbit's Dream looks like something straight out of a fairytale. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it's surrounded by a whimsical garden, with the outside of the property covered in foliage, lanterns and surrounded by a cute picket fence.

Inside the Hobbit's Dream, expect fantasy-themed interiors, including a dragon hand-carved into the floor, heaps of fairy lights and a stove.

Entering the home though a circular door, it's also filled with quirky accessories - including lanterns, a cute desk (complete with quill and paper) armchairs, wooden utensils and shelves stocked with jars and preserves.

While there is no TV in the property, there are a series of workshops for guests to get involved in. These include 'Hobbit Pipe and Wizard Staff Carving' as well as 'Vintage Broom' and 'Wooden Spoon' workshops put on by the hosts, who promise a "once in a lifetime experience".

"There were so many little surprises and details - you know this place was made with love by a true Tolkien fan. But I'd even recommend Hobbit's Dream to people who have never read Tolkien. It's just THAT beautiful."

While another said: "Randy and Linda have put together an astonishing and wonderful experience! From the moment we opened the mailbox at the Hobbit Hole, we were immersed in Tolkien's world.

"The property is gorgeous and the landscaping is stunning. Every nook and cranny had a new treasure to find inside the Hobbit Hole. And we had all the comforts of home!

"When you visit, do not miss Randy's workshops! We had the best time learning from him and making things with our own hands. He is the best teacher! We are already planning our next trip to the Hobbit Hole and can not wait!"
