We are counting down the days until Disney's gorgeous cruise ship, Disney Wish, is officially up and running next summer. To tide fans over until then, Disney has given more details about a magical wedding venue onboard the ship.
The Grand Hall is inspired by fairy tales like Cinderella and features a sprawling, twisting staircase that serves as a magnificent backdrop for any wedding or vow renewal.
A shimmering gold chandelier hangs from the ceiling, illuminating the venue and sparkling columns. It literally looks like the fairy dust from Cinderella's transformation the original 1950 animated film and we're obsessed.
Perhaps taking even more inspiration from Cinderella, the carpet is royal blue and is paired with gold which can easily be matched with a variety of wedding looks.
And just like every Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding aboard Disney Cruise Line, each couple will enjoy their very own dedicated Disney Weddings team who will be there along the entire planning journey and on the wedding day to ensure a magical wedding experience.
You really can set sail into happily ever after with your one true love!
Disney shared a first look of their Disney Wish cruise ship last month after it was first announced back in 2019. The Disney Wish is the first out of three new cruise liners being added over the next couple of years. It joins the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy.
The Grand Hall pictured will also be where guests are greeted by Cinderella herself, in front of the ship's three-story atrium.
If the Disney Wish is where you want to get married you'll be pleased to know that there will be dozens of attractions and features to keep you busy afterwards. There are some seriously cool new features included on The Disney Wish, such as an actual 760ft long water ride attraction on the top deck, named the Aqua Mouse, as well as six swimming pools, an adult-only zone and a kids' Splash Zone.
The ship's theatre is inspired by the magical forest and when it comes to food, guests will be able to enjoy a Frozen themed theatrical experience and a Marvel Cinematic Dining Adventure - part of three new dining experiences on The Disney Wish.
Guests will also be able to enjoy menus "featuring world class cuisine infused with Nordic influences". And there's a very elegant Hollywood themed restaurant named 1923, combining "classic Hollywood elegance with a menu inspired by California's fusion of cultural flavours".
When it comes to accommodation, each luxurious bedroom is themed around Disney characters, with the majority offering spectacular views out onto the ocean.
Weddings aboard the Disney Wish will begin 20th June 2022 with 3- and 4-night cruises to The Bahamas. Booking opens to the general public on 27th May 2021. You can find out more information about booking here.
