Top of the list for many holidaymakers right now is a space that's secluded or one that they can rent out with family and friends - and this unique hotel offers just that!
This cool floating pod - the Anthénea - is an eco-friendly option that can also sail around the world.
Designed by Jean-Michel Ducancelle, the impressive vessel is actually inspired by a James Bond film - The Spy Who Loved Me, starring Roger Moore.
Dubbed as the world's 'first floating hotel suite', the Anthénea is a luxury hotel on water that is eco-responsible and its spherical shape means it just sits on the water, causing as least harm to sea life as possible.
The floating pod uses solar energy and releases clean water back into the sea, plus sand screw anchoring to avoid any damage to the environment.
The luxury hotel suite has a rooftop seating area with space for 12 guests and adjustable sunshade roof, prime for enjoying a sail across the ocean or hanging out with friends aboard.
The cylindrical vessel also boasts an open deck with steps leading directly to the ocean, glass doors that open upwards to let in the sea air and plenty of space inside, with circular dining table, circular bed and circular bathtub adding to its sci-fi aesthetic.
What's more, the floating pods also feature 360-degree views of the sea as well as windows on its lower level, which give firsthand under-the-sea views.
The spaceship-like Anthénea is a cosy hotel for two or you can rent it out with your friends. There are three sizes, with one to three cabins, ideal for parties of any size.
And best of all, the pods can be purchased as a first or second home, or you can just rent it as the perfect party venue.
Pods are currently moored off the coast of Brittany, in France and prices start from $336 a night.
