Polar bears are fascinating animals but the nearest we'd ever hope to getting close to them is via one of David Attenborough's nature shows.
But what if we told you could actually sleep nose-to-nose with the majestic creatures?
Believe it or not, Belgian zoo Pairi Daiza offers guest the chance to sleep within INCHES from the bears and it looks SO magical.
The zoo-come-resort - based in the province of Hainaut - is famed for its unique stays, the most impressive of which has to be the White Bear House.
Guests have the option of staying about ground - where only a glass screen separates you and the mammoth white bears who you can watch roaming on their ice caps - or half underwater - where the inquisitive bears swim right up close to your window.
"Man has been fascinated by this impressive species for centuries. Pairi Daiza offers you now the possibility to spend the night in the company of the largest land predator in the world," says the resort.
"What perspective do you prefer? Do you like to see the polar bears walking around? Or would you prefer to see them swim by from the rooms with underwater view?"
Set in The Land of The Cold, the cosy lodges come complete with warm wood furnishing, soft fabrics and fake fur. Stepping into the bathroom you'll find white fittings and Carrara marble surfaces with brass accessories.
According to Pairi Daiza, the window seat is "the perfect spot to sit and admire the wonderful view" while you can also change the light settings within the room depending on your preference.
The rooms can accommodate up to six adults and a baby. Price wise, a half board stay starts at €124 (£96) for two days/one night with access to the park included.
Praia Daiza incredible lodges don't stop there. Also in the Land of the Cold, you'll find Walrus House with incredible views of the mammoth creatures (both on land or half underwater, depending on your choosing); the Paddling Bear hotel and lodges, both in close proximity with Steller sea lions; and the Penguin House, with amazing views of the waddling birds, both above and below water.
