Open to women aged 14 and above, the Som Dona Hotel on the island of Mallorca is perfect for ladies looking to travel man-free for religious or social reasons.

But you don't need to have a specific reason to want to stay in this women's only hotel on the Manacor coast, every woman is welcome - singles, female couples, businesswomen, mums and daughters - anyone who may just want girly company for the week.

You do need to be aware though, that there may be male staff working at the Som Dona, to comply with Spain's gender discrimination laws.

Not only do we love the idea of living our best lives with our favourite girls for the week, this hotel is a beauty and rooms are available from as little as €70.50 (£62.22) per night, depending on when you travel.

It also depends on which room you want to bag. On offer is a standard double room, one with a pool view, or the slightly more luxe Splendit double, which comes with complimentary coffee, minibar, robes and slippers.

With a roof terrace offering bali beds, wellness area, pool, bar lounge and "bold decoration inspired by feminine features," according to the website, this sounds like the break us and our girlfriends need.

The stunner of a beach is just over 250m long and offers up relaxing hammocks and boat rentals, if you fancy a day on or near the sea.

With its pretty design and great location, we couldn't ask for much more of a hotel.

The website describes it as: "A new space for women who are looking to disconnect from the stress of daily life that offers personalised care tailored to their needs."

It sounds like the perfect place to unwind, with massages, facials and even a jacuzzi on offer.

The hotel commented on their unique offering: "There is a trend related to women only businesses, such as gyms, co-working spaces, insurance companies[...] We believe that the future of tourism goes through the specialization and the personalization of the travel experience." [sic]
