Dream. Job. Alert.

That's right, you can now get paid to move to New York for the summer, where all you'll need to do is explore the city before reporting back on all the hot spots. Oh, and it's rent-free. We'll just let that sink in...

One lucky travel-enthusiast will have the chance to spend three months living in the city that never sleeps as a 'explorer-in-chief' working for Downtown Alliance.

As the job description states, there's "no catch". You'll live rent-free - just off Wall Street no less - between 1st June and 30th August 2020, where you'll be discovering all the best spots in the city.

We're talking restaurants, bars, clubs, activities, tourist attractions - you name it, you'll be uncovering what Lower Manhattan has to offer.

You'll also be treated to VIP experiences at a variety of sights, including the Statue of Liberty and One World Observatory and you'll get to stay in luxury accommodation, too.

"Your schedule will be full-time and vary in terms of times of day. You might do an excursion late at night, or all day long, maybe even stay up for a sunrise or two. The winner should be up for adventure and excited about exploring Lower Manhattan," Downtown Alliance explain.

As well as living rent-free and being paid to do cool stuff, you'll also be paid $2,250 (£1,765) for every two weeks of work.

Finally, we'll be able to live out our Blair Waldorf dreams...

So, how do you apply for the once in a lifetime position?!

Applicants must submit a video - which has to be 60 seconds or less - as well as filling in an application form.

Downtown Alliance also state that you must be active on social media, with your Instagram account public (not private). You must also be able to create and edit interesting video content.

"Ideal applicants will have a camera-ready personality, a keen eye, a distinctive voice and the chops to produce compelling, entertaining content," Downtown Alliance explain.

"They'll be someone who is charismatic and comfortable as the center of attention but who knows that the location is, ultimately, the star."

Applicants must be aged over 21 to apply. If you make it down to the final three, Downtown Alliance will fly you over to New York for your final interview.

Applications close on Sunday 15th March, so GO, GO, GO! You can apply here.
