A woman hilariously decided to break the news she was a stripper to her parents using a powerpoint presentation.

Lex Alvi knew that she was going to have a lot of explaining when it came to telling her parents about her job as a stripper in a nightclub, so she decided to break it down in a slideshow.

Genius, if you ask us!

Lex, from Boise, Idaho, created a colorful meme-filled presentation - you know, the type you'd make during a school project.

As she opened up the powerpoint, Lex then proceeded to tell her parents that she wanted to share a secret with them.

"This secret pertains to my life, it doesn't affect anyone, the only reason I'm sharing it is because I want the people I love and trust the most to know what's going on in my life and just be a part of my journey," she informed them.

“Any guesses you have, you will be wrong," she teased.

Lex kept her parents in suspense a bit longer, telling them in her best teacher voice that the secret meant she was "talented, cool and powerful", and didn't mean she was "pregnant" or "in danger" - two essential caveats, if you ask us.

After a dramatic drumroll, Lex dropped the big news, telling them: “I’m a stripper, as in I pole dance at a strip club, and I love it."

After learning of her job, Lex's parents laughed in surprise, appearing to take it well.

Then - as you would in any normal presentation - she covered some frequently asked questions about her job.

Naturally, her parents found this quite amusing, but they took on the format spiritedly.

Questions included "Why, what's the point?", to which Lex replied: "It's a sex positive environment and I can express myself safely.

"It's the performance, the theatrics if you will."

Another question she noted might come up was: "Is that why I have been able to suspiciously afford stuff?"

"Yes, it is. I make money doing that," she replied with a smile.

She also told her parents she was staying safe by maintaining "full anonymity" and assured them that there was no drugs or "shady business" on the premises.

Plus, she assured them she wasn't currently doing any other kinds of sex work.

"All I do is dance and chat with people," she said, adding later: "It's one of the funnest jobs I've ever had, so I just wanted to share that with you because you deserve to know".

We are obsessed with how accepting Lex's parents were throughout.

What a lovely moment to watch!
