Meeting the parents when dating can be stressful for any one but one woman had quite the shock when she discovered that her boyfriend's mum had posted a list about dating her son.

TikToker Emma, who posts with the username hotgirlsareswifties, shared the hilarious video including a snap of the list her boyfriend's mum posted.

There are 10 rules in total on the tongue-in-cheek list and they include things like "acting like a lady", not showing up to her house "looking like a stripper" and understanding that she can "make you go away".

One rule reads: "He's a mama's boy. Unless you have a ring on your finger, your opinion does not matter."

Another one said: "He is a gentleman. I taught him that. You better act like a lady and deserve that."

The list goes on to say that if the mum finds any "sexts" on her son's phone she will "make you go away."

The list ends with the ominous tenth rule. It reads: "'If you weasel your way past all of these rules and fake your way to a ring on your finger, I will be something much worse than your boyfriend's mom. I'll be your mother-in-law."

In other TikTok news, one user shared the story of her delivery driver offering to pay for her lunch after she "blurted" that she was having bad day.

Julia, who goes by @dimarjulia, shared the adorable video to her followers, which included screenshots of the text messages between her and the delivery driver.

The message from the delivery driver reads: "Sorry to bother you, it's the delivery driver. I'm not trying to hit on you or be awkward but lunch is on me today.

"I put your money in your mailbox, hopefully this is able to change your bad day and slowly it turns towards a good day. Enjoy and be safe!"

Blown away by the delivery driver's kindness, she replied: "This was the nicest and sweetest thing ever. You really didn't have to do that.

"I'm still in shock lol, but I really appreciate it & it honestly made my whole week, not only my day."
