Woman Owns Her Date After He Fat Shames Her In Vile Text Meant For His Friend

The man sent the fat shaming text to his date, rather than his pal, while he was at her house.

A woman has shared a painfully awkward interaction she had with her date after he sent her a vile text fat shaming her, which was meant for his friend.

TikTokker Kersten Hovis took to her page to share the horrendous faux pas, captioning it: "Reality of dating in 2020", and it has since gone viral online.

Kersten had invited her date round to her house to pick her up, but was shocked when he text her while in her company, claiming she was "bigger than expected".

The horrid text also mentioned that she had a "loaded family".

In the text chain between the pair, which Kersten shared on her TikTok, the man writes: "I think I'm here" before she confirms that he is indeed at her house.

In another text, clearly not meant for her eyes, the date pens: "Headed that way, she's bigger than I thought but holy **** her family is loaded."

WOW.

When she shared the message, users on the platform were quick to tell Kersten she had had a lucky escape, and that she was better off without the man in question.

"God was watching out for you lol bye boy!" one person wrote after reading the grim message.

While another concurred: "You're a queen and will find better!"

"Babe you really dodged a bullet," a third chipped in.

She explained in the comments of her post that she was in the car with her date, on the way to grab some food with another couple, when she received the message (which he had intended to send to a pal) ten minutes into the journey.

Sarcastically, she hit him back, writing: "I'll pray for ya bud."

After that, as you'd expect, the pair spent less than 20 minutes together before Kersten made her excuses.

In another TikTok, she explains: "I looked at him and I was like, 'You didn't mean to send that, did you?

"And he was like, 'No'.

"I was like, 'Well you can just turn this car right back around'. And that's what he did.

"I just told him how insecure he was and how shallow he was, and I knew that's why he was still single.

"So we sat in awkward silence for the ten minute ride home."

Concluding that she refused to be demoralised by the experience, Kersten went on: "I'm 5 ft 9, I don't expect myself to be a twig. I have some thighs, it's okay, I love that about myself.

"I'm beautiful and your opinion doesn't change my opinion of myself. If anything, it just lets me know what I deserve even more."

YES GIRL.

The TikTokker signed off by adding that she had "blocked and deleted" her date moments after his tyres squealed off from her driveway.

We stan a boss b*tch who knows her worth!
