Man Asks Woman To Transfer Him Money For Drinks Because She Didn't Sleep With Him

Man Asks Woman To Transfer Him Money For Drinks Because She Didn't Sleep With Him

It should go without saying, but we'll say it anyway: if a guy buys you a drink on a night out, you are not contractually obliged to sleep with him.

Shockingly enough, at least one man on this planet didn't get the memo - and one woman had to deal with the idiot.

Chlo Matthews, a student paramedic, shared screenshots of a text exchange with a guy who had bought her a drink on a night out, and she had then given her number to.

He messaged her the following morning saying: "Hey who's this?x" Chlo replied: "Aha we met in atik last night x".

After confirming she was the girl in the denim dress (Christ, how many were there?), he replied: "Nice one ;) could you transfer me for those drinks I bought you lat nite [sic] since we didn't go home togeva wasn't really worth my time was it lol x."

We don't blame you if your jaw is on the floor at this point.

Chloe's tweet read: "So a guy bought me a drink when I was out last night and I gave him my number and... Chlo Matt is officially retiring from nights out."

Of course, Chlo confirmed she didn't pay the guy back. Phew.

Naturally, the people of Twitter jumped to Chlo's defence, rightly calling out the unnamed man as the world's biggest pillock.

One person questioned the state of humanity, writing: "This is a joke surely? Is this what society has come to?"

Another added: "His mum must be proud."

Others gave amazing suggestion for how to get the guy back.

One person thought she should get his bank details and use them to sign up for a charity donation subscription, with another suggesting Women's Aid.

"Transfer him 1p with the reference 'for the virgin' please," another hilariously added.

We're sure he'd love than on his bank statement.

A third suggested: "Invoice him for the time you spent talking to him and deduct the drinks bill from it. He'll still owe you and you can tell him use the balance for admission to charm school.

"What a plonker."

We couldn't have put it better ourselves. Lucky escape, we say.
