People Are Losing Their Minds Over This Guy's 'Insane' Rejection Text

Receiving a message from someone about how they've fallen in love with you is often rom-com worthy content.

That's what this TikTok user probably thought when she started reading a long paragraph about all the things a man loved about her. All for it to end with the bluntest rejection.

A TikToker posted a screenshot of a text she had received to her account that was When Harry Met Sally in 2021 vibes. The end of the message was therefore quite the shock:

I'm sorry. What?

The message reads: ""I fell in love with you. Idk how to explain it but I did and I just think you're an amazing person with a great personality and I just love your laugh. It's so adorable and cute.

I love your brown eyes. In the sun the [sic] get a little lighter and sparkle a little bit. You smell like pound cake all the time and I love it. Your smile makes me feel like I'm floating.

You have the cutest nose. And my most favorite thing about you is your personality. I mesmorized your Starbucks order and your chipotle order. You hate the emoji "" even tho u use that emoji sometimes u only use it when you're horny.

You're 5'7 ¼. You say pickle juice when you're thinking about your bestfriend leixy. And u love to annoy me but I secretly love it but I can't date you because you're not my type".

I love all these things about you "but I can't date you because you're not my type"?!

Read that again and really process the AUDACITY.

As you can imagine, people went wild in response.

When a screenshot was shared to Twitter, one user said: "yea..... this would definitely be my villain origin story bc WTF was ALLLL of that for??? like i'm sickkk for her".

"i would simply never catch feelings for anyone ever again", said another tweeter.

Another hilariously replied: "this was the longest journey to disappointment I've taken in a while".

Someone else simply tweeted: "Where's the vaccine for this".

Some people even related to the story, with one person saying: "LMAO BUT MY EX DID THIS TO ME AFTER 4 YEARS and ended his sentence with "I love you, but you're really not my type" and so I left".

Honestly, solidarity to that poor woman and excuse us while we go lie down for a sec.
