A mum has captured the painful moment her baby boy ripped out her false eyelashes on camera.

Jessica Allen, from Birmingham, West Midlands, was relaxing in bed when her 11-month-old baby, Charlie, grabbed her lash extensions and ripped out a handful - leaving her with a bald patch.

The 26-year-old mum says she was in shock when she saw that Charlie had a handful of her false eyelashes and realised what had just happened.

Watch the video below:

She added: "It was morning time and we were just chilling in bed together as we always do while Charlie has his bottle.

"I had my phone out and was recording a video as being a typical mum I am always taking cute pictures and videos of him.

"The next thing I knew he had pretty much dived at me, grabbed a handful of my eyelashes and ripped them off.

"I was speechless. I just saw these black lash hairs in his little hands and he then started playing with them."

In the video, Jessica's shock is blatant. She appears lost for words when she realises what had happened in that split second after catching a glimpse of herself in the front camera of her phone.

She says that she didn't feel any pain at first as shock was her overriding emotion.

The mum-of-one added: "I just couldn't believe how quickly everything happened. One second we were chilling together and the next he has my lashes in his hand and I've got a bald patch on my eye.

"Because the false lashes are glued on to my real ones, they also been ripped out.

"I just could not believe it. He had never gone for my lashes like this before.

"He usually gently plays with them with one finger, but this time he'd decided to grab a load.

Jessica said she 'nervously laughed' after 11-month-old Charlie ripped out her lashes (

"I nervously laughed to stop myself from crying and then I just lay in bed for a few minutes thinking about what happened.

"I then quickly messaged my eyelash girl in a panic hoping she would be able to help me.

"I haven't been able to leave the house since it happened, and I probably won't until I can get an appointment to get them fixed.

"As the day went on I was finding it less and less funny.

"Although when I was telling other people what had happened they thought it was hilarious and it made their day."
