A list of the 100 most popular baby names of 2018 so far has been compiled, but do you know any babas who feature in the list?
If you or any of your loved ones are pregnant, it could be a good idea to keep a close eye on the list, compiled by BabyCentre, if you want to stand out the crowd when it comes to naming little ones.
The results are in, and it turns out Olivia is the most popular name for baby girls in 2018 so far, closely followed by Sophia and Amelia.
Last year Emma was the most popular name chosen for little girls, but it seems like that trend has been and gone as it slips down to 35th place this year.

Perhaps surprisingly, Megan has dropped off the list of the top 100 since last year, which is unusual given all the hype around the royal wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Advert
Unsurprisingly, George remains in the top 10, which could be something to do with Prince George, son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
