A student has gone viral after hilariously turning up to a job interview a whole month early.
Management and marketing student Laura MacLean was eager to impress on her Skype interview with Microsoft's University Recruitment team, which could offer her the chance to work for the company for a full year placement.
But when Laura logged into her Skype on 18th January, she was confused when the call from her potential future employers never came.

"I pride myself in being very prepared and an organised person," she told Buzzfeed News.
Laura revealed she'd been "studying everything [she] could" about the company, and had even got her family and friends to do practice interviews with her in the days leading up to what she believed to be her interview.
She continued: "I didn't want to mess up my one chance ... and these types of chances don't come around often with big tech companies like Microsoft."
After waking up extra early to have a full breakfast, change into her smart clothes, do her hair and make-up before squeezing in some extra prep and research, Laura was baffled when the call never came.

So she emailed the department asking why the call hadn't come, only to be told: "Our interview is scheduled for 18th February at the same time."

Still obviously confused, Laura replied: "It is the 18th of February and it was scheduled for 11am? And I still haven't received a call?"

"Thank you for your e-mail," Microsoft responded. "Today is the 18th of January, February is next month."

"What made it all worse was that my birthday is the 14th of February, so somehow I had managed to skip turning 22," Laura joked after realising her mistake.
"When the team emailed back reminding me it was in fact January and February was the next month, I quite frankly wanted to disappear into thin air."
Laura admitted she had probably sabotaged her chances of getting the job "as I thought Microsoft would think I am an idiot".
Let's hope things go better than Laura expects on 18th February.
