YouTuber Colleen Ballinger has taken to Twitter to share the realities of life as a new mum, showing her fans that people's online posts aren't always a true reflection of reality.
Also known as Miranda Sings, the new mum shared a picture of herself while looking after one-month-old son Flynn Timothy.
Colleen is wearing a grey vest top covered in a variety of different stains which she has highlighted, describing them as 'baby barf', 'leaking milk' and 'baby pee'.

The Youtuber also pointed out that she wasn't wearing any make-up and had dirty unwashed dishes in her room.
Captioning the post she wrote: "I see a lot of moms online who portray a perfect, easy lifestyle. but this is a more realistic version of what motherhood looks like.
"I wish more people would show their reality instead of the most perfect version of themselves online because the messy stuff is beautiful too [sic]."
After sharing the honest post, her fans praised the 32-year-old for being so open and sharing her experience as a new mum.

One fan wrote: "With me being pregnant, I'm so glad you've been honest about how hard pregnancy can really be because we don't hear how hard it can be! So preach to you for being honest so I wasn't driving myself insane."
Another replied: "I respect you so much for showing the reality of motherhood and showing that even for the people who think it is, not every experience is that way!
"You and @erik_stocklin are the best parents Flynn could hope for for showing him that it won't always be easy but that that's life!"
A third follower also wrote: "Couldn't agree more! you look gorgeous and i'm so glad that you're being so open about everything."

Colleen gave birth to Flynn on the 10th December 2018 and has been extremely open about her pregnancy and life as a mum.
The vlogger showed off her post-pregnancy bump in a video just days after giving birth, and pointed out that not all mums instantly go back to their pre-birth size.
She said: "I know it's kind of weird for me to show you a body that's like not really perfect and kind of a hot mess, but I think it's important to show that because I feel like there's a lot pressure on women after they give birth to get right back to their [pre]-birth weight.
