A man fooled a girl he was dating into thinking he had a £50,000 Mercedes when in fact he drove something very different.

Rhys Stewart shared a video of his wheels on TikTok. The video starts with him filming his keys and the steering wheel of the motor both showing the Mercedes branding.

Rhys captioned the video, "Told this girl I drive a £50,000 Mercedes."

The shot then cuts to the bumper of the car, again showing the Mercedes logo.

But as the camera pans out to reveal the rest of the vehicle - it's actually a Tesco delivery van instead.

"Don't [think] she was too impressed," Rhys added to the clip.

What a prankster!

To which Rhys then joked, "At least I'll have plenty of food."

The woman was on a coffee date when the stranger handed her a note whilst her date was in the bathroom.

She then shared a picture of the note written on an old receipt.

The note read, "Too many red flags. Run. Be safe girl."

The woman said she saw the red flags but described the man sitting behind her as her 'guardian angel'.
