You Can Invite A Llama Or Goat To Your Zoom Call

This is the best thing to come out of lockdown.

We're officially in week four of lockdown and I think we can all agree that Zoom calls are getting bit monotonous now, right?

With everyone working from home thanks to lockdown, chatting to our colleagues over broken WiFi is getting dull and our 'zany' boss donning fancy dress to Friday's video call work drinks in an attempt to liven things up is failing miserably.

Tell you what would be the perfect video call livener, though: llamas.

In amazing news, one animal sanctuary in Silicon Valley is letting people pay to get llamas, goats and various other animals in on their video calls - and it is SO brilliant.

Sweet Farm launched the project - which they've named Goat 2 Meeting - last month and they have already taken 300 requests for their farmyard animals to take part in video calls.

According to Business Insider, the company has already hosted their animals in Fortune 500 company and tech startup's meetings as well as various business's virtual happy hours.

For less than $100 (£80), Sweet Farm offers a 10-minute animal cameo in a large team meeting, or $250 (200) for a 25 minute appearance. Otherwise, for $65 (50), you can get a 25 minute virtual tour of the farm. You just have to use the online application form to schedule your meeting.

Animals able to take part include goats, sheep, pigs, cows, turkeys, and llamas - which farm owner Anna Sweet tells BI is the most popular option. Obvs.

"I think we're all a little stressed with what's going on, many of us have been sitting inside," Sweet told the outlet. "We're just hoping to bring some smiles to people's faces, while bringing them out to the farm at the same time."

Anna explains the money made from Goat 2 Meeting will go towards helping the farm recover some of its losses due to lockdown.

Goat 2 Meeting even offers virtual school trips, already having hosted school classes in the UK and Brazil. How sweet!

This would definitely be a major morale booster for work teams during lockdown - imaging a goddam llama popping up on your screen?!

And it doesn't have to be just for work meetings - don't you think this would make a hilarious surprise for a birthday Zoom call for your family member or friend?

Obsessed.
