Drag queens and babies; two of the world's great joys. So when the two recently combined for an incredible performance, the result was a pure delight.

Twitter user and drag performer Marti Gould Cummings, recently posted a video showing a performance of the hit children's song "Baby Shark" after a request from a 2-year-old boy. Since it has been posted, it has amassed over 680k views.
This happened during a drag brunch last weekend in Jersey that gets young children to mix with gender non-conforming people. Another initiative is Drag Queen Story Hour, which runs readings hosted by drag queens in libraries across the US.
"So many people have responded to the video with so much love," Cummings told NBC News. "The internet can be such a toilet for negative, toxic behaviour and misinformation, so it feels incredible to be part of this one moment that is using the internet to spread so much love and joy."
Cummings has only recently started hosting the drag brunch at Talde restaurant in Jersey City, but he decided to do something a little different this time. "But Saturday we decided to do a 'drag roulette,' where the audience picks a bunch of songs for us to perform at random," Cummings explained.
What the hell kind of a place for brunch is this that you would bring a child with women dressed like this?

A place that is welcoming to everyone. Where joy is spread and hate isn't aloud through the doors.

And to the few (ill informed) people who said drag and children shouldn't mix, Cummings explained that it is only adults who have a problem with it, never the children. "Anyone who thinks drag isn't for children is wrong," Cummings told NBC News. "Drag is expression, and children are such judgment-free beings; they don't really care what you're wearing, just what you're performing."
"It would be nice if us adults could let the child inside of us out for a little bit, so maybe we could all be a little more accepting of others ourselves," Cummings continued.
