Are you a Disney fanatic? Well, listen up... because one woman has thought of the perfect way to use her love for all of Walt's characters to keep her sane during lockdown.

Isabel Burrows, 22, is dressing as a Disney character a day to help keep her spirits up - and she's set herself a mission to cover as many of her favourite characters as possible.

So far, Sussex based primary school teacher Isabel has dressed as everyone from Mary Poppins to Cruella De Vil to Smee.

And the best part is she only used a selection of clothes and fancy dress items she already had in her wardrobe.

She's also dressed up as Peter Pan and John Darling, Alice in Wonderland's Alice, The Princess and the Frog's Tiana, and Beauty and the Beast's Belle.

"I have been obsessed with Disney for as long as I can remember," she said.

"I thought 'I'm going to challenge myself to come up with these looks'.

"Now Disney Plus has come out I have been watching 24/7. I wanted to do something fun to keep busy."

Isabel was fortunate to already have Belle and Ariel costumes in her wardrobe from a previous Comicon event, but she had to get creative with the rest of her looks.

Pulling outfits together from whatever she had in the house, the Disney obsessive added: "I have had to make some props so I am getting my arts and crafts out too!"

Her dad is on hand to take the photographs for her - although, she admits he has no idea who most of her characters are!

The teacher was inspired to start the dress up mission after seeing a colleague posting homework videos where he dressed up.

She added: "Disney gives that safe space to be able to just not think about what is going on in the world," she said.

"There's a real sense of escapism for me."

Isabel plans to carry on with her fancy dress mission until she runs out of characters to try.

She said: "I want to keep people smiling and it is keeping me busy thinking about how I am going to create this look and what I can do next".
