Most of us have had to endure an overprotective parent grilling our partners on their intentions but one girl's dad went one step further with a 'son-in-law material' quiz.
Aleisha Stubley, from Middlesbrough, was introducing her new boyfriend Andy to her family over dinner when her dad whipped out a laminated checklist of nine questions.
"Mortified" she shared the list on Twitter, writing alongside: "Came out for tea with Andy and my family for the first time, my father just gave him this lmfaoooooooooooo f*ck off. [sic]"
The hilarious questionnaire included queries about Andy's future plans as well as if he was able to provide for Aleisha and any children they may have.
As well as some incredibly probing questions about his previous relationships and his porn habits.
The cheeky checklist started off with a considered question about Andy's future: "Where do you see yourself in five years?"
It then moved on to: "What qualities do you see in my daughter that makes you think she will make a good wife?" and, "What are your intentions with my daughter?"
But it became awkward when Aleisha's dad then broached her boyfriend's Internet activities: "What is your history with pornography?"
It then moved back to Aleisha and Andy, asking what they enjoyed doing together and if he "had a temper".
In the eighth question the dad boldly dares to ask about Andy's previous sexual history and then a totally unrelated question that Aleisha said had her "howling".
"Will you be prepared to look after my beehive when I go on holiday?" it ended.
The post racked up thousands of likes on Twitter, with many commenting how funny her dad was.
"I love that's he's gone all out and laminated it," wrote one person to which Aleisha responded: "I know! Some effort!"
"This is hilarious," added another.
Aleisha said she found the whole thing "funny", joking: "My dads round the bend, I hope people don't think he's serious!"
That's one way to work out if he's son-in-law material.
Brilliant.
