People Are Divided After A Man Proposes At Someone Else's Wedding

People Are Divided After A Man Proposes At Someone Else's Wedding

Is this sweet or a big no-no?

A woman has shared a video of herself getting engaged during her best friend's wedding ceremony - and let's just say that people are a little divided.

The clip, shared on TikTok by user @lauragr37, shows the bride preparing to throw a bouquet over to a crowd of her guests.

But at the last minute, instead of releasing the bouquet from her hands she walks over to one pal in particular and hands her the flowers.

Check out a video below:

When her friend turns around, her partner is there on his knees, and pops the question.

The bride jumps around gleefully as her wedding guest accepts the proposal.

Sharing the clip on TikTok, the newly engaged wedding guest penned: "You know you have amazing friend when they share their wedding with you. I get to marry the love of my life and best friend! #engaged #feyonce".

But there were differing opinions about whether the proposal was romantic or just plain inappropriate.

"I would be so embarrassed if my husband had proposed to be at someone else's wedding," wrote one person in the comments.

While another penned: "Sorry but my wedding is about me".

"Anyone ever proposes at my wedding [you're] getting kicked out," a third wrote.

As a fourth agreed: "This is very cute but I will never share my wedding with anyone. I don't care who you are. I'm sorry but that's my day".

But not everyone was so disapproving.

"This is so beautiful. Never understood why so many women are against this," someone wrote.

While another concurred: "This comment is not a vibe!! Just shows how many selfish people there are. I would love to share this day and love to see my best friend happy".

"That bride is a genuine drama free queen," said another TikTok user. "Blessing to her and her hubby. Blessings on the newly engaged. Love it".

Looks like the jury is still out on this one...

If you ask us, we think if the bride is happy with it then everyone else should mind their business and be happy for them!
