Searching for an alternative to yet another Zoom quiz or Netflix binge?

You can now challenge yourself to a series of epic virtual escape rooms - including one set on an eerie abandoned space station.

After all, nothing takes your mind off lockdown like a spot of fictional cabin fever, eh?

The online rooms are offered by Trapped In The Web and can be played solo or in groups from anywhere in the world.

These are no run-of-the-mill escape tasks, either. The concepts showcase epic levels of creativity.

Case in point: Space Run.

The challenge? You're trapped on an abandoned space station, lost in the great beyond, with no gravity and no power.

Can you fix up the station and escape on the evacuation shuttle before the oxygen runs out?

There's way more where that came from.

Cabin Fever will see you wake up in a vast cruise ship as the only passenger.

Players and their fellow escape artists will have to solve the puzzles to make their way through the labyrinth of a ship and get back on dry land.

Meanwhile, A Night At The Theatre will have you and your pals trapped in an abandoned theatre, with no cast or crew.

Each room should take around 1-2 hours to complete depending on your skill levels (

You'll need to turn those jazz hands into solving clues in order to escape.

Each room should take around 1-2 hours to complete, depending on the escape artistry skills you and your pals have to offer, of course.

There are three difficulty levels: beginner, intermediate and expert, so you can always work your way up to ladder.

It's a fun to spend an evening and a great conversation starter with mates, as well as keeping your brain ticking over.

All you need to do is assemble your team and choose which escape rooms you want to crack open.

Plus, each game costs £7.99 - a whole lot less than what you'd pay for a regular escape room.

The exception is Space Race, which is currently available at a limited price of £3.49 as it's brand-new and currently undergoing testing.

Here's the full list of rooms:

Space Runn (testing now! Be one of the first to try)

School's Out (beginner)

A Night at the Theatre (intermediate)

Cabin Fever (intermediate)

Out of Hours (expert)

Brb, if anyone needs us we'll be in our abandoned space station.
